Description: Brown oak is oak which has been stained to a brown colour by beefsteak fungus often seen as a horizontal mushroom shape on the side of a tree. This doesn't affect the tree, it simply stains the wood. Tiger oak is oak which is halfway towards becoming brown oak.
This jewellery box has four trays of rippled sycamore and is lined with dark blue velvet.
